Artful Color – These guys rock!!! With a suggestion from a co-worker I decided to dive into G-Squared. Loved the whole experience!!! Love my new highlights and the slight change to my base color. The energy is low-key and the results were right on. Great space...
not that great – 1. didn't even do an overall trim(which every salon does) 2. didn't address the needs of my hair-type 3. gave me an overall uneven haircut 4. poor job on blowdrying my hair. just simply casually passed a brush through my hair-needless to say, the 'do' didn't end even last till the end of the day. 5. poor shampoo job. most places that charge this much atleast have a shampoo person who THOROUGHLY washes+conditions+ provides a light scalp massage. if your stylist is the one washing your hair, BEWARE.
Best Salon in SF!!! – I have searched far and wide throughout our fair city, and have yet to find a decent hairstylist. Until now! Someone told me to use Citysearch, so I looked up "Hair Salon" and was surprised to see that I had already visited most of the Salons listed, with the exception of G-SQUARED. Relaxing-Awesome Color – Yea!!!! I loved this place. Off the beaten path from other salons I was impressed with the space and the level of expertise of my colorist. Met with Nikki and she was amazing. Super cute and sweet - not fake- I really enjoyed my experiece there. She actually took the time to find out what I was trying to achieve and was very honest about my limitations which I really appreciated instead of just doing whatever. Loved my hair and the space!! Great cut too!!!
Beautiful Color with no Drama! – I have never written a reveiw before -- but found this place on CitySearch and had to add my affirmation. Lovely small salon -- with Cecilia who knows color. She matched my current color from my LA colorist -- and was able to match the cut from my LA stylist. Didn't know that one person could do both anymore -- but I loved it. I was out of there in under 2 hours. No stress -- very competent. Highest recommendation!
Great spot for color – My girlfriend lives is San Francisco and wanted me to try this place for color...So I did. Perfect for me since I drive in from San Mateo and I loved the salon. My colorist was amazing and I love my new layered cut with a soft fringe. Easy for me to get to and I didn't have to wait for my appointment!!!!!
Best Place for Color – I've been to most of the Union Square factory salons and I must say that this salon is a nice change from all those guys. First of all the receptionist is a doll and most helpful... no attitude there. Everyone seems cool and the stylist all look very professional. Most importantly I loved my hair color and the stylist who did my hair took their time and I didn't feel rushed or pushed out the door. Not what I was thinking... – Wow. I only found a couple of negative reviews for ths place so I though I would try it out. It's ok and my hair looks alright but it defenitly wasn't the place I was expecting. I don't know why people say its easy to park cuz after 3 you can't park on 6th. It's not in a nice area and frankly felt a little stuffy for me. Not thta the people weren't nice but there was a little tension in the air or something that made it hard to relax. Its kind of loud, too.
value,staff – The reviews on this place are right on!!!! Loved my haircut and even got a few highlights. All the stylist seemed really nice and talented. My highest recommendation and the atmossphere was calming and not stuffy!!!
