Best color around -- bar none! – I'm a skeptic -- so when I read all of these rave reviews, I thought its not possible. Nonetheless, I decided to give them a try. They booked me with Kimberly -- She was amazing -- She matched my NYC done color and gave it more warmth and texture (never thought I woud use that word for my hair --- but its truly dimensional!) All around -- I was very pleased and couldn't give the experience higher praise!
Intimate Space-Good color – I made an appointment with Kimberly and she really took her time to find out what I was looking for. She was totally devoted to spending time with me. I must say I felt special and loved the results. Everyone there is soooo nice... the owner works next to her and even made sure I was comfortable. Excellent service!!!!
Color Correction Wizards! – These guys saved me. I was set to go to on a follow up date from Dinner for Eight (I was desparate) -- and thought I would do a quick home color touch up. OMG! I was in tears. My hair was various shades of yellow and orange. I would have cancelled but saw the rave reviews for these guys on Citysearch. First Color-Loved it!! – I went in for the removal of my gray hair because at my age it just isn't pretty. The staff is very friendly and I am very excited about my new color. Next time I may try highllights. Great energy there!!!
Highlihts were good, but I had 3/4 inch roots – I've been looking for a new place to go for highlights and cut since I moved to the city. My highlights were great, natural just like I had asked for. I just have never left a salon with roots like this. I understand that you can't get too close to the scalp but this was just bad. Color Charm – Recently tried Neil upon a recommendation. Once I finally got an appointment I realized it was worth the wait. He is very professional and attentive, conversational, sweet and above all talented as hell. I love my color and for once I didn't walk out looking like a fake dye job from a sub-par salon and didn't break my bank either. The tones of my different colors are much for vivid for some tones yet sublte for others as accents. HE ROCKS!!!!!
Loved my highlights! – My highlights have never been better -- and the condition of my hair healthier. These guys do not "save" time by applying the color to all of the hair -- but expertly go in and select strands and apply the color to the new growth only. I can now grow my hair longer without brittle fried ends. I love my stylist Neil. High Recommendation – I was in town for summer school break and saw that these guys were mentioned in Allure magazine so I decided to go in. They transformed my yellow blonde hair into a beautiful toned summer blonde and I have never been happier. The only down side is that it was hard to get an evening appointment. All the staff were very nice!!!!
Hidden Gem – I never knew there was this salon until lately as the buzz about town started. Got an awesome cut and will be going back for some color since this appears to be their specialty. Call in advance as it is hard to get in in the evening and week-ends. THe stylist seemed warm and the salon is not snooty like some others.
