Color fix – I have been to the salon twice both times with Nikki and am so happy with how my hair has turned out. I went in with almost green hair and Nikki was very honest with what could be done to fix it and the time frame it would take to get back to a natural blonde. It looks better and better each time I get it done. The salon is really nice with and the receptionist was very helpful with my questions on hair producuts.
great color – I went into this salon with my boring blackhair and old highlights not really knowing what I wanted and Nikki gave me the best color ever! My black hair is now a beautiful golden brown and she gave me great blonde highlights. The salon was pretty busy and a little small but everyone was very friendly.
First color experience-awesome – Believe it or not I have never had my hair colored before and friends always tried to encourage me not to do so. Ready for a change I decided to try something a little different but not drastic at all. I have to say it looks great and natural because I was scared to death. Cecilia did a great job and everyone loves the soft highlights that I have. Maybe I will be more bold next time. Cute space!!
Amazing Colorist! – I've been going to Neil since he was at Joseph Cozza Salon on Maiden Lane. I've been every shade of blonde -- and he nails it everytime. I would go to noone else. I have referred no less than 6 of my friends to him -- and all of them still go to him. He keeps me current with the trends -- but not overdone! Location couldn't be better -- I drive up from Atherton and find parking directly in front of the salon every time. No more parking drama to get my hair done!
Where's the beef? – After reading over 50 glowing reviews, I thought I'd give this place a try. After driving around one of the worst neighborhoods in the city looking for a place to park, I made my way up to the front door only to find it locked. I had to knock a couple of times before someone "buzzed" me in. The place is small and I mean small. Very antiseptic looking, kind of like those room displays at Ikea. And loud. Natural Looking Highlights – For some reason everytime I get my hair colored I walk out looking overcolored and overdone. Not sure why that happens but my faith in hairdresers hasd been restored. I met with Cecilia and she gave me without a doubt the best natural looking highlights I have had in a long time. So glad to get rid of those stripes!!! Yikes!!! I will be going back for sure... awesome space.
This salon is a gem! – I have been going to Debra for 2 years now, and absolutely love her work! On top of being super sweet, she has an excellent memory about your hair. I moved away from the city and had to get my hair cut from someone on the Peninsula lately, and regret not making the trip up to see Debra. I usually get highlights and lowlights from her, and a cut. Smashing New Color! – I was in a slump!!! Tired of my job and a boyfriend in Southern California that is on again and off again. Then I decided... Change my hair color! Yea! I booked with Cecilia and walked out a new woman. New shade of blonde with soft brown lowlights that are visible but not too dark like others I have had. Anyway, she was delightful and very sweet as well. I'll be back for another pick-me-up soon. Thanks Cecilia!!!
Talented Stylist – After reading the reviews on Citysearch I made an appointment with Nikki. I love the space and she did an excellent job on my color which was in need of attention. She works upstairs and I had a great view of the salon which has a very relaxed vibe. What I enjoyed most is that I had only one stylist that did both cut and color. Nikki was great and fun to talk to.
