I booked for my husband and 18year old Autistic son to go out Mackerel fishing on Saturday, booked a wk in advance. My son had never been and was really excited. They drove down from Bristol on the Saturday, waited around at the dock, there was nobody about. My husband then phoned the number to be told it was cancelled. Went mackerel fishing with these last week, we like to go on a fishing trip every holiday we go on. This was easily the worst I've been on by far. Skipper showed no interest, moaning he'd "had enough already" before we had even set off. Then proceeded just to sit on his phone while we were fishing, no attempt at engagement apart from saying he couldn't wait to get back and home as he'd been out all night at a house party. Just got off the boat after seeing a massive pod of dolphins. We looked to be out of luck, but the skipper persisted past our allotted time and we hit gold. Couldn't recommend enough. My kids were delighted.

Went mackerel fishing. Completely get that some days no fish will take the bite, but most other mackerel fishing boats I've been on would motor off to a second site if the entire boat was not having any luck with any mackerel. Shame this company doesn't seem to do that. Nice enough on a sunny day on a boat (hence two stars) but felt the crew could do better.
