We stayed at the stus pontoon over the weekend and after staying previously here at the beach hut we were very disappointed. I booked my stay here expecting proper flushing toilets as the last time we came it was compost toilets and that was the one thing I hated about my stay but everything else was great! After seeing a post on instagram from the 15th of February 2025 about work being done and that there was no longer compost toilets I booked my stay to the stus pontoon. We enjoyed our stay in the Shipwreck. Lovely accommodation, which had everything we needed. The bedrooms were nice and warm and everywhere was clean. Andy the site supervisor couldn’t have been more helpful. He helped us to heat the hottub and was always there if you needed anything. Very welcoming- which made the stay even better. We couldn’t figure out how to use the projector, which would’ve been nice to watch from the hot tub. Can’t wait to visit again!
Love coming here! It was my second time and we stayed in the travellers rest this time. Last time we stayed in the beach hut. Can’t wait to come again! We always book a pre warm, so our hot tub is always ready when we get there. There are cooking facilities which is amazing if you want to cook your own meals. We either cook what we can (all fridge food as there is no freezer in the fridges) or we have tried the pub at the top of the road which is lovely and not dear. Glamping pods are always clean and cosy.
Just home after a fantastic stay at four seasons. Would highly recommend if you are looking for glamping with style Nothing was to much trouble if we needed anything. Would definitely book again
