A few issues -- started great with the initial interaction. Subsequently, scheduled to have someone come out prior to date to see if we actually needed to tear down a staircase for access. The person never showed up, never called, did not answer text messages. On work day, showed up, seemed to go OK. Their inspector came by -- didn't look at the work inside the house; he only spoke to the workers and left. "Approved" -- we were billed and told everything was done. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a contractor, let alone a contractor with such a reputation. The lack of communication, unprofessionalism and execution we dealt with was shocking. We were sold a dream repair and it quickly turned into a nightmare. We needed about 500 sq.ft. of subfloor replaced, due to water damage and black mold spreading on nearly all of the bad flooring. We were guaranteed it would take 3-4 days from the time they started. I have tried for 2 days to get someone to answer the phone for a service call because I have flowing water in my basement AFTER an **** ******** *********installation. No one answers the phone after dialing 4 different numbers listed for this entity. An answering service in Virginia transferred me to a Columbus number . Again no one answered. I keep getting the same recording about how they help me protect my home . NEVER, NEVER have I experienced such a run around after spending thousands of dollars with them.

We had a crawlspace sealed and sump pump installed. Our sales rep was good but the installation crew left a lot to be desired especially for the install price. They wanted to clean up early and so they pulled the drop cloth up early and ruined our carpets with mud. They also had to take off the mounting brackets that secured our sewer stack but didn't resecure it. We contracted a company to fix a Foundation and a leaking basement. We spent close to ******now a 1 1/2 later the water keeps coming in. I have contacted ******** ******, and they came to check it out 2 weeks later. Daniel said they didn't slope the drainage properly, so they have to move the sump pump. Here we are a month later, rain has been bad, and the basement has gotten a good amount of water. When I called to follow up, daniel said they have lost my papers. Are you kidding me!!

LIES LIES they told LIES, their Company Representative Ethan *****came to our home and said YES we can fix this and gave us a quote. While he was at our home he did an inspection and made some suggestions (we didnt ask for the inspection but he insisted), all items were not necessary, but we agreed we felt if they were going to be here why not home maintenance etc. Ethan *****told us he would be here to supervise on the day, he was NOT and the men doing the work could not get in contact with him, should have been our first r... read more

Terrible customer service experience with the foundation recovery systems branch in Ankeny, Iowa. We had both interior and exterior done. The interior water proofing crew filled our entire house with concrete dust. We complained to the office manager, only to have a supervisor show up to tell my wife it is our responsibility to mitigate their dust. They refused to pay to have the house cleaned. Our experience with Tar Heel Basement System 9/2022~****** later and six months later after their repairs, we did a flooring project next to their work in our master bathroom.
