As a 45 year old woman who has never done any kind of martial art before, the idea of starting was daunting and scary. I started at Fortitude BJJ a few weeks ago at the age of 51, unsure if my body would/could endure what I was going to ask of it. I have been suffering from anxiety and panic attacks so I knew attending a class was going to push me out of my comfort zone but I also wanted to at least give it a try. Fantastic place to train. The bjj classes are brilliant as well as the gym area. Friendly instructors with a wealth of knowledge between them. Everyone who trains there is also friendly and helpful. I urge anyone interested to give it a go you get a lot for your money.
