Nasi padang store is extremely dishonest Advertised 2 veg and 1 meat as $5 They ended up charging me $12 for 2 veg and 1 meat (broccoli and curry chicken) They said my food is all ala carte and does not apply to the $5 option The chicken also dry and the staff damn rude Will never come back again
I had the delicious Signature Chicken Rice dish and a drink of refreshing lime juice. It was so tasty and excellent value for money.
Avoid the Muslim food stall. The menu indicates 2 veggies and 1 meat for $5.00. Then they charge you $1.50 more when you choose eggplant. When I enquired they said “veggies” are limited to kangkong and lady’s fingers. If so, why not indicate clearly?) They charge $3.40 for a serving of chicken, which is 2 small drumlets (not a drumstick). I have yet to see this anywhere else. The lady server also has a sour expression on her face.
Avoid the korean/japanese stall. Ordered fried fish curry rice. The curry is tasteless, wonder how much water they added to save cost… the fried fish is tiny and the batter is so thick, the actual fish is one thin piece. Dont waste your money there. Coffee’s good tho!
