Love this spot! I have stayed here twice and would stay again. It has everything, a general store, an ice cream shop, mini golf, an amazing pool, a beautiful restaurant with a wrap around patio, tons! Very kid friendly! There's activities to keep you and the kids busy! Love it!
I cannot say enough about Tabitha and all the staff at Fontana Village! Not only did they make the planning process seamless, but they went above and beyond to help us on our wedding day. The day of it rained and poured for hours. As the power went out in our cabins due to weather, Tabitha and all the staff made sure we had rooms and everything we needed to make sure the day went smoothly. please add more sand for the volleyball court. I scraped my knee because there was not enough sand.
We had a great time at the resort with so much to do. I actually spent quality time with my 15 year old son...without the distraction of technology. Loved all the rich history and the people. I would highly recommend the "Sunset Cruise". We loved the captains stories and knowledge of the area.
We have been going to Fontana Village for years, since our kids were very young and now we are taking them and our grandson once again. Can't wait to get there in a few weeks and have some quality time with our family.
Had a fantastic time! Amenities and activities galore....only down side was the game room, it was abysmal at best. Most everything out of order and the pool tables are busted! Sounds like a lot of negative but everything else was really great! Very friendly staff! Will definitely return for a longer stay!
Great place...we came for the disc golf...awesome course, challenging, picturesque, a lot of elevation.
Had a wonderful 2 days at fontana. Great cabin in the woods, lots of activities available. It was unusually rainy but we were able to get out on the lake and tube (getting wet anyway!). Very good dinner and amazing view at mount view restaurant. Added surprise that our trip home was on the "dragon", a winding 11 mile road through the edge of the smokies. Fontana is the best! My Dad has been coming here since he was a kid. We were raised coming to Fontana for vacation and now my kids have grown up with Fontana! I absolutely love it there and day dream about it almost every day. Thank you for keeping it family friendly and a place to unplug from the world (please DON'T improve the wifi, that's the best part truly unplugging from reality)! I'm sad we couldn't be there this summer... hopefully next year! We love love love the Fourth of July fireworks!
