Omg, that was an epic experience of totality today. Way to throw a great viewing of the solar eclipse. Great music, great people and awsome staff. I have visited 5 times in a row, minus last year for The MOTD and have enjoyed every year. I will definitely make it back now that I know Lady Z is back in the bar. She really makes you feel like family. We love her.

This was our 2nd year attending MATG and we had an amazing time! Special thanks to your crew member Madison for taking my daughter and I up to lookout rock, it was a challenging but rewarding hike!

Great place and great area of remote N.C. I come 2-3 times a year for car rallies. The area is a very well know for it's sport driving roads. If you book a weekend you may want to make sure there is not a big motoring event at the Village. The only issue we have, the only negative, is the food at restaurants and store are typical American heavily processed crap. We bring every thing for meals at the cabin or cook out by the dam... which I highly recommend.

My parents brought us all together in the Bryson City area for a week to celebrate their 50th anniversary, and one of the things we did together was the sunset boat cruise at the Fontana Village Marina. My folks aren't as mobile as they used to be, and my dad primarily uses an electric wheel chair, but that was no problem at all for our tour captain. Even with the end-of-tour rain, he was patient and helpful -- getting dad something to cover the chair battery which can't get wet so that he could get back to the car. The tour... read more

My husband and I were married at Fontana Village in June, and we could not have asked for a better experience! We had 120 guests, almost all from out of state, and everyone loved their cabins, the mountain views, the lake, the food -- everything. The wedding coordinator, Tabitha, is incredibly kind, professional, accommodating, and responsive. Really the whole staff went above and beyond in making the weekend flawless. Thank you, Fontana Village! We'll be back!
