This was our first time traveling to the mountains of North Carolina and we could'nt have been happier than to stay at Fontana Village. We came up the first week of December; most of the attractions were closed for the season but no matter we enjoyed the peace and quiet! The weather wasn't too cold and it actually snowed the day we were heading home.....my early Christmas present! The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We will be back in June to enjoy our time again!

We enjoyed the beautiful drive and scenery. We ate an amazing meal for Thanksgiving. It would have been amazing but we were sat in a back room which was dark instead of the mountain dining room with the amazing views. There were many open tables and we had reservations but were sat in back anyway. Would have made the price worth it for the main dining room
