RecommendedBeautiful scenery. Hospitality was great! Food was great! Felt so "at home". The Lodge is beautiful and so "homey" with the big fireplace. We caught the "color" of the leaves at just the right time. Perfect. Next to Heaven!

Had a great time here with my entire family. The Appalachian Trail runs right next to the damn. So beautiful. The trails are challenging. Cell phone coverage and Wi-Fi is spotty unless you are at the main building. We stayed in the three bedroom cabin which had everything we needed. We were close to the dragons tail, Fontana Dam, white water rafting, and tubing in Bryson City. The easiest way to find people to play sports with was to just show up and start the game yourself.
