This is our 3rd year here. All staff has been great. The cabins are rustic in nature dating back to the begining of the TVA The cabins are dated but very clean.. The nightly weekend fires are a nice touch. Each cabin has its own fire ring. The mountains are great in any season. If you want fancy, don't come. If you want nature and history and family fun this is your place..be advised poor Wi-Fi in most areas and non-existent cell phone service. You can run phone through Wi-Fi if so equipped. My wife and I were lucky enough to find Fontana Village Resort 2 years ago; and due to the friendliness of the staff, value, and ambiance of the family friendly setting it's now our go to place for multi family gatherings. I can't say enough good things about it!

Our family reunion was fabulous. We had three cabins. Enjoyed great food, swimming,pontooning, out door games and hiking. Staff was so friendly. Everything well kept. Would come again in a New York minute.

I've never been to a more relaxing laid back place. We are huge Disney fans and go very often but I honestly prefer this vacation to those for relaxation. It's absolutely stunning here and there's so much available to do at a reasonable price, and the burgers are awesome at the grill.

This is a special place to get away from your day to day worries. It's history takes you back in time a little bit. The staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed our visit.

Spent Solar Eclipse weekend at the resort. The staff was friendly, and helpful. They had lots of activities for everyone. Our room was very nice. There was a little issue with water pressure in the mornings, but to be expected. Rooms at the Lodge don't have fridge or microwave. But, they have cabins that do. The scenery is phenomenal!
