By far one of the worst experiences I have had at a Toyota service center. A simple oil change turned into 2.5 hours of waiting for our car to be serviced and the advisor never updating us even though we informed them that we were on a tight timeline. At the 2 hour mark I received a text from the Folsom Toyota center that there were a number of issues that needed to be addressed- that should have been highlighted no later than the one hour mark. Rude! Rude! Rude! This was, by far, the worse car buying experience. We had a scheduled appointment to see two cars side by side. I was told that both cars are on the lot and ready for showing. When we arrived, Chad, the Sales Manager, immediately handed us off to another sales person. Only one of two cars was on the lot. The other car was never available to begin with. We did get the discount that we were promised and ended up buying the car but whole experience was very depressing and unpleasant. Horrible customer service ... read more

Went to get an oil change. Helped by Laura Torres, she was very helpful. I appreciated being helped by her because she cared about my vehicle needs and didn’t try to up sell me on anything that was not needed. I drive over an hour to get my vehicle serviced, and I do it because Folsom service takes care of me. Thanks again Laura for everything.

When I arrived my service advisor told me got my car took extra oil and he wasn't willing to honor my $29 oil change coupon from Toyota. I know I have a large SUV that takes more oil, usually it costs me $36 and I'm out. I was told "prices had gone up" I understand that dealerships lose money on oil changes buuuut not my problem. Well I guess it was today. My service tech told me my car took 8gal of oil so I stared at him for a minute until he finally corrected himself. My sequoia takes 7.5qts.
