It's absolutely uncanny that these guys continue to provide such poor products and services. When does a CEO look at an average rating of one star and decides to clean house? Everything from the accuracy of provider names, locations and costs, to the many broken links on their website/app screams "clown show".
I just found out I have a heart disease, and I had Florida Blue. Well they were horrible. I spoke to over 20 associates. Half of them can barely speak English, one of them scammed me. Where they cancelled my insurance, and I couldn't get my oxygen or go to my doctors appointment or pay $156.00. Th the communication from Florida Blue and Healthcaregov is terrible. awful incompetent service. The phone is impossible. The reps are incompetent. don't understand what you say. repeat till your blue in the face! My policy is constantly screwed up; no one gets the info right. Can't give it out ut you on hold. multiple 4 min hold. mess up medicals, take over to pay. it took me 2 days of going through the phone system, talking to reps, getting transferred, put on hold. hung up on by a rep. don't use this company!
This insurance provider continues to flag our account unjustly. It started last month when our Better You Rewards were applied to our May bill which reduced it. My FL Blue grants its members a 90-day grace period to pay their monthly premiums. If they do not pay their outstanding bill within 30 days, their system flags the account which restricts their benefits. The problem is My FL Blue is not waiting 30 days. Florida Blue is the worse company and I dont recommend them to anyone as a HC worker. Their customer service representatives tell you anything just to get you off the phone and when you call back its a different information they giving you from the previous rep. **** done this several time to us and I find it unbelievable. Florida Blue insurance cards are the most illegible cards I have ever seen. Small reverse type on a medium blue background. Ridiculous. Marketing creative trumped the consumers needs here. Try again.
I was recently diagnosed with MS. ** insurance doesnt even pay for my pain medicine or my preventative medicine. Why do I have it? I can get better prices by paying out of pocket but then why do I pay you? Make sure you dont get diagnosed with an auto immune disease or terminal disease; they will barely cover a dime for you. I have had BlueCross for nearly 30 years but they have really went down hill as far as healthcare coverage is concerned.
Im wear a hearing aid. During the open season I understood if I chose to keep *** drug plan and opt out of MDPD that I would request the change. I got it wrong!!Im not the only one who was forced out of the *** drug plan. I know many others who got scammed as well.If I find a better plan next open season, Im dropping BCBS FED and changing to a better plan. This bait and switch routine is a nightmare that they have dragged me thru.
Excessive premiums , we chose a high deductible to lower premiums (which are still excessive ) and , when you need them In an an emergency they dont pay. A life and death emergency with a 911 call, ambulance , and a critical situation . They are denying all claims from ************* Blue Cross says no emergencys are covered . How is this possible ?
