They are the worst people ever. They sold my 89 year old father a 10 year service plan!! After 10 years he would still owe 25% of the ac unit!! They were so difficult to get a hold of and unreasonable I had to send a copy of his death certificate to finally get the service contract cancelled. After a year of paying 140$ a month on a 8,000 dollar unit I still had to almost the full price for the AC unit. My dad paid 1,680 NONE OF THAT WENT TO PAY OFF THE AC UNIT. Stark Services in Fort Worth, TX, is very shady in their AC operations. They installed a "new" unit for my parents-in-law in 2020, but when the coil went out three years later, we found out that all the parts weren't under warranty, because Stark failed to fill out serial numbers in the warranty paperwork. On purpose. The "new" coil they installed with the unit was a 3rd party coil manufactured in 2013. So it was already aged upon install. Midlands Air, employees are courteous and professional. Checked our a/c for the summer, also installed new water heater. Two different people installed the water heater, they were also courteous and professional.

I received a call to set up a tune up with Peachtree heating and air. On the day of same, they didn't show, so I called. They had no record of the appointment. We arranged for them to show later that day. When they showed, they informed me that my AC was not working and I had to pay $99.00 for a "diagnostic", plus whatever else they might have to do. They scam people by ignoring requests to cancel the service subscription plan.

Do NOT enter in to their loyalty program- do yourself a favor and just do not do business with this company at all. They are scammers and perform shoddy work. Due to the “experts” poor installation we were without heat when temperatures dropped and it took multiple “experts” to figure out the issue. When we sold our house after 5 years of monthly payments to their “loyalty program” they tried to charge us 82% of the original sale price bumping the original agreement price up to almost double. Do Not Use service experts for anything. Their loyalty program is a complete scam! They do not do what they say they do, and they will charge you way too much if you want to get out of the agreement. Took them almost 2 years to get our furnace working due to their faulty installation. They are way overpriced and an absolute pain to work with. Go with literally anyone else.

Coastal heating and air is a great company, I have always gotten great results in a timely manner. Everyone is pleasant and knowledgeable with a good personality. I highly recommend them.

When I answered the door, Efrain and Gustavo informed me a 3rd guy would be arriving.They turned my thermostats down 10 degrees, looked at the indoor portion, and went outside for 10-15 mins.When they came back a third guy in business casual was with them,they then inform me I have "zero coolant" left due to a leak, which "must be in the coils."They inform me the coil will cost $2500 to replace and I will need 10lbs of coolant at $150/lb.Efrain says my capacitor is "only working at 45%" and will also need to be replaced,my c... read more
