Omdat wij aansluitend aan de reis nog een cruise maken, vinden wij de accomodatie in Orlando / Kissimee van minder belang en zochten wij een beetje op budget. Na recensies gelezen te hebben van dit hotel, met niet al te hoge verwachtingen deze geboekt. Zolang je snapt dat de prijs die je moet betalen gewoon in verhouding is met wat je krijgt, is het prima. Made reservations through (Groupon) for 3 night stay. After a long day at Legoland the check in was quick and easy. For 3 adults and 3 children the room was a little tight but we were not planning to spend alot of time in the room. On the first morning we spent a few hours at there water park. The towel girls were very nice. The kiddy play area water was so cold so we hung out in the lazy river the entire time. The hot tub was on fire couldn't stay in more then 5 minutes. I brought my 3 daughters here, 17, 9, 4 and they had a great time. There was something for each of them to do and we finished the night off at the pool after waterslides closed. The food at the bar was good and so was my drink. The rooms was clean and the a/c was cold! We enjoyed our stay and will be back this time for 2 nights!! Highly recommend.
The first couple days were ok. The first day we arrived we got there before the Waterpark closed. The slides were closed. I asked the lifeguards why, one stated they close before the Waterpark, I asked what time, they stated 630, I said it's not even 530 yet. 10 minutes later they were all of a sudden open, but that lasted 10 minutes. I would definitely watch your children and not depend on the "lifeguards" saving anyone in distress.. This place was fantastic....when your running from a hurricane....great job Flamingo Water Park....
worst 3 days ever... 2 out of 3 of the main slides were closed on Friday. We were told by the lifeguard it was because the blue slide hurts your back. On Saturday it was open. Friday Night the Hotel had a plethora of Rodeo Guest that stayed 2 nights. The hotel extended the bar hours till midnight for the inconsiderate drunk Rednecks that at 2am were still loud. Over all it was Good, the front desk People where very kind and helpful. Check in was smooth but I bought my two night stay from Groupon and I was aware of the $8.00 per day resort fee but the $100.00 incidental holding fee Wasn't stated prior to check in. I was not pleased by it but it was my daughters birthday weekend so I paid it. The 1st room they gave me the security lock latch was broken I called down stairs and they sent someone up right away to change my room. We are staying here for the third time. The rooms are clean, the waterpark is fantastic and the staff goes above and beyond. If you expect a 5 star resort, this isn't it but if you are looking to spend a few days at a decent hotel and have tons of fun at a water park, this is for you! My kids always have a blast!
I love this place..this is my second time here and I honestly i don't have any complaints ....I can't wait to come back :)
