THE BAD � •Cabanas looked dirty •Rooms were filthy and dated •Room furniture was gross •Popcorn ceiling had years worth of dust •Towels and linens in room had massive stains •Queen beds were actually cheap cots THE GOOD � •Checking out Do yourselves a favor a stay away from this dump! It's not a Resort at all, in fact it's worse than a "ZERO STAR" Motel less than a mile away from a Florida State Prison. It just happens to have a pool... This was the nastiest hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms look nothing like the photos. We had cockroaches in our room and bathroom I have pics proving so. A manager wouldn't speak to me or call me back. The towel lady grabbed all of our towels refusing to count telling me it was only 3 when there was actually 8. Hotel advertises being smoke free so we went because my son has cancer and people smoked everywhere no workers cared or tried to fix the problem. The experience was great, I rented a nice cabana and stayed in a king suite with a jacuzzi. My son loved it and I enjoyed movie night with complimentary popcorn and the light night by the pool. The room was very clean with modern finishes. Cons... drinks were expensive for the portion. The cabana was tattered. The food was expensive and I've eaten better at gas stations. I still give it a 5 because I'm not that boogie and I came with money to spend, I just will probably pack meals for next time.
We come here at least once a year, usually spring break. Sometimes we will do a few days over the summer. It's not the Hilton or four seasons, but for the price and the amenities it's not bad. The kids love the waterpark it's all in one area so I don't have to chase them around, I can sit on the lounge chair relaxing and watch them go down the slides or come around the Lazy River. This was our very first stay here and after reading some of the "OLDER" reviews, I wasn't sure what to think. But, I am so glad that we did, because we had our son with us. The front desk service was awesome, when we checked in. The waterpark was so much fun, and even the rooms were pretty dang nice. However the game room needs a LOT of working on, that was a waste of our $2.00. Other than that, we will more than likely be back to stay again in the future!
Customer service is great!!! Check in was smooth and quick !!! The water park is fantastic! Rooms are nice, no complaints at all except that the water park closed at 7pm and we didn't know so we took a break around 5pm for dinner and though the kids could swim after dinner but the park was closed and I didn't see it posted anywhere so it was a bummer but again my ONLY complaint. I would highly recommend this place!!!!!!
