The gym itself isn't bad but the billing is terrible they won't let you cancel a membership and just keep charging you even after you've been confirmed canceled. Then they ding your credit and send you to a bill collector once you force stop paying them it's a huge fight and they throw all these hidden fees at you while you try and dispute any charges making your credit worse and what you owe them greater....
Stupid ass bag rule. I want to see in my contract where fitness connection is liable for my personal items. If they are not liable then I should be able to keep my personal items in my gym bag next to me.. Also the people that work there have thier gym bags with their personal shit right next to their desks. You can't tell me that any different. If the employees can have their gym bag next to them I again should be able to have mine next to me
I started coming here when it opened as golds gym.. when fitness bought it, it went down hill. It went from good to ok to now I feel like I go to planet fitness... can't have your bag can't have chalk can't make noise.. I've seen people come here and get big and then quit because they don't like how they run their gym.. it's truly bullshit.. I have been in search of a new gym for a while and I will be switching soon I don't recommend it to anyone.. it is a place to get a pump don't get me wrong but... not a place I like to c... read more
I like this facility and the large variety of equipment. However the closure of the pool/sauna area is unacceptable for this long. Every month I have called I am given the same generic answer, which is "We plan to reopen next month". How strange that I just received an email survey last week asking for input regarding closing the pool altogether?! Perhaps the pool is in disrepair and that is why the damp mold smell is so strong now? Yes, I know the Reno location is available and I have been utilizing it but it is inconvenien... read more
