I booked a solo dining experience on the kitchen bench at the end of August. This was my first foray into fine dining and I was not disappointed. From the moment I was greeted at the door, I was made to feel incredibly welcome. The taster menu and whole kitchen bench experience was just wonderful. What an amazing place and the food is full of various flavours, from the fresh bread to the courses. I won't take any stars off because service and the setting is immaculate but the smoked roe and saffron rice spoiled the cod for me, did not seem to go. However the garden herbs and oil used in the cuisine is truly unique and exceptional, well worth the price. I like how the tables are spaced out where it feels intimate but not too close to others. Visited Fischer's today for lunch. The staff are charming, helpful and extremely efficient. We chose to dine on the terrace which overlooks the gardens. It is so pleasant and peaceful. I had pork with apple sauce too start, steak and truffle mash for mains and lemon and strawberry tart to finish followed by coffee and petite four.
