We visited first choice in September with my baby! It was our first emergency situation with our infant and we were very happy with our experience. The staff was friendly and help calm our nerves as first time parents in er for a first. We entered, filled out paper work were seen and on our way home in about 30 mins or less. We had billing issues since they were a private ER but their staff worked with us to get it resolved promptly. We hope to not have to go back to an ER, but if we do we will go back there!
Yesterday was my second time going to FCER-Kingwood. The first time was with my son & this time I needed to be seen. With both experiences there I have been very impressed with how quick they are about seeing you, thorough they are about seeing to your needs & how friendly the staff is. It is so much better than going to the E.R. at the hospital.
First Choice in Kingwood is awesome! Very clean overall, friendly personal staff, quick service. I would go back for sure.
First Choice has provided me emergency medical attention on 5 occasions over the past 5 years with x-rays, stitches, examinations and bloodwork. The physicians and staff are prompt, thorough, sensitive and follow up as expected. I will go to this Emergency Room whenever such services are needed and consider no other.
DON'T GO TO FIRST CHOICE!! They tell you nothing about the fees they charge and use the excuse that's it ER prices and they do not know what they are. They billed me $1326 for a cat scratch! Two steri-strips and a tetnus shot for $1326!! DON'T DO IT! It will be cheaper somewhere else and this is just plain ol' fraud! I did report them to BBB and they are going to investigate as well as my insurance company. Really? A cat scratch and two steri-strips! $1326. Great big B.S.!!
My experience at First Choice was great. On my visit I was in a tremendous amount of pain and the doctor, nurses, techs, reciptionist, everyone was extremely caring,understanding, and attentive. I ultimately had to be transported to a local hospital, and I have to say that my experience at FCER was far better than that at the hospital. I've been wanting to stop by and thank the staff personally, but simply haven't had the time since I do not live in close proximity to FCER in Kingwood.
