Great Emergency Room. Having worked as a nurse previously, I would much rather go to FCER than wait in an hospital ER all night. Staff was very friendly. Seen within minutes, and treated very nice and quickly.
Visited First Choice on Sunday, 12/30/2013 at 1:10 A.M. after sitting in a local hosp ER for over an hour. Walked right in, was called to the back before even finished filling out paperwork. Spoke with nurse, had X-rays , saw Dr. and left within an hour. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, even at that hour. Dr. had me laughing as I walked out the door. Would definitely return if I had the need.
Having waited through a painful night for urgent care centers to open at 8am, I found my condition needed a CT scan to be sure what was going on. If I'd realized I'd needed a scan I'd have gone straight to First Choice much earlier. Without a wait, they diagnosed quickly, got me out of a lot of pain and stabilized (catheterized) in a couple of hours, and comfortable to wait for a managed care appointment. Of course ER costs a lot more than even 'urgent care', but when it's what you need, this place is excellent.
