They did NOTHING for me but take my temperature and force me to take an ambulance to an actual ER room because I was over a certain amount of pregnancy weeks that they could accept. When I walked in, the first thing I said was how far along I was and my issue and asked if they could see me with those conditions. The actual experience was fine. The billing and lack of communication between the hospital and insurance company will result in law suits.
I went to this facility on November 27. I had some shoulder pain that was very intense. I asked what the cost for a visit would be and was told $350 dollars which I paid $392 when I left. Today I received 2 bills in the mail one is for $1414 and the other is for $2911. Now I am self-employed and do not have insurance. Normally I pay my medical out of pocket and have a little experience with this type of billing. I'm not sure why an EKG (the only thing the billing company actually had a cost for $61) $5000 dollars. Do not use First Choice Emergency room off Northpark. Last night (11/17/18) I took my 5 year old son in last night where I believed he had strep and possible scarlet fever. Upon walking into an empty office I was told to be prepared to wait quite awhile. DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Do not even take cattle to be euthanize here. This was the absolute worst treatment I have seen of any other human being in my life. Not just in health care but anywhere. I have worked in allied health for a decade, all my family works in allied heath literally all and this place is a true atrocity.
