He was professional and worked with us very well when plans changed in the middle of the work. I would recommend George to anyone who is planning a project or is ready to go. He is a first rate contractor.

He didn't actually fix the main reason I called for but he did sell me the correct part and did a lot of maintenance & diagnosis. It took him most of the day but only charged me for an hour plus parts. We have a complicated oil/wood furnace that so far nobody completely understands. He also showed me how other parts of it worked (or is suppose to work). Very nice person.

George was very friendly and helpful. He arrived on time and performed the required work to my satisfaction. The only concern I had was the price. I have not checked and compared to see if the cost was fair. It cost me over $ 200 to change out a high limit switch ( approx $80 for diagnosis and $125 for parts and labor -which took only about 5 minuts) . This seems to me a bit excessive but I have not compared it with what others would have charged. Other than the price I was extremely happy. George even helped me with cleanin... read more

Business response:

I had to get the high limit switch from Carrier Corp.-an extra side trip. Also, Amit's previous HVAC company had installed a 150 degree switch when it needed a 210 degree switch--a big "no no" because it was making his furnace 'short cycle' many times before the home would get up to the target temperature; and incidentally, causing a lot of unecessary wear & tear on his furnace. For instance his wrong switch only lasted three years, whereas the one I installed should outlast the furnace-10 to 20 years.

These polite servicemen arrived within a few hours of first calling them. They were responsive to my needs and made no attempt to oversell me. Exactly what I needed, nothing more, nothing less. Outstanding service.

Business response:

I love it when the homeowner is left smiling from ear to ear.

I had to have them come back to fix a gas leak they missed. After that repair I could still smell gas. I called them and they told me to call the gas company (said it might be a dead animal) which I did. The gas company came out and found the leak in the work they did (didn't grease the pilot light tube) going into the piece they had replace. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone for anything!!!

Business response:

I reccommended Wallace replace his 31 year old furnace. Couldn't do it so we replaced his main gas valve. With the first leak I recommended Wallace call NW Natural because they are free & have fast response, but he refused to call; This first leak was in his old safety valve which we now replaced for a small fee. The next leak was a "minor leak"-barely detectable-according to NW Natural gas company. The fitting was originally tightened by us with a 7/16" wrench to proper tightness, so I suspect the homeowner loosened th... read more
