They made several appointments which they did not show for. When they finally showed, they looked over the work and gave me a quote for $200. They completely failed to disclose the $99 diagnoisis fee. They claimed to need more work and then, didn't call back to qualify. The work was done in one setting. Overall I find this place, to be dishonest and they wasted a significant amount of my time waiting for them when they didn't show, and would never recommend them to anyone.

Business response:

Sean is more than kind of mixed up. He's the one that cancelled our first two appointments, but I didn't hold that against him. When he did become available, it was in the middle ofa heat spell, so I had to cancel to take care of clients with emergency problems. When we finally did the diagnosis Sean didn't want to take care ofthe larger $3,200 problem & wanted a "band-aid" type temporary fix

Nice people but need to be more clear on what the costs are ahead of time and make sure they communicate that in detail. I didn't know each piece of the system had a diagnostic charge attached to it. They did fix the problem to the best of their ability.

Competent, polite, reasonable prices. Nice work. Would have been more comfortable having George do the actual work only because the guy who actually did the work was very disorganized, took a very long time to get started once he got here, and did not seem to be confident in his own work. The work turned out fine, though. Would use you again.

Our project is not complete. We could not find exactly the problem but the mechanic/engineer has left us with instructions on how to narrow down the possibilities. We need to run the ari-conditioner again for several hours then follow his instruction to find out more precise on what needs to be done. The mechanic is friendly and resourceful and willing to answer any questions. He will credit us on his next visit when he returns to repair the issues after we find out more on the specific. We are happy with this because other ... read more

Fire and Ice is a two man crew with no substance. After a very long afternoon of George not knowing how my furnace really worked I had to tell him to leave. I would not recommend Fire and Ice to anyone.

Business response:

This client must be a paperback fiction writer. Translation of his remarks: 'very long afternoon' was actually a standard about 45 to 60 minute service call. 'not knowing how his furnace worked', he has a lot of nerve saying that after I did 2 things that have escaped his last 3 or 4 service technicians--1. tightened up his loose thermostat wires and 2. tightened up the pulley for his motor.

When I wasn't able to schedule right away, George said he would follow-up in a couple of weeks, and to my surprise, he did. The job took longer than he thought, but he did a thoroughjob.
