This is the second time I’ve seen Dr. Rahhal and I won’t be back. Crowded waiting room; assembly line environment- someone does a test and dilation, back to the waiting room, another test, back to the waiting room, exam room, waiting, dr breezes in for 5 minutes, dictates a measurement “see you in 6 months”, heading home after 2 hour appointment, eyes dilated for another 5 hours.
Dr. Rahhal is such a joy to see. He is very smart and explains things very well. I feel seen, heard, and know I am in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Rahhal.
Dr. Rahhal, explained my condition throughly and the option to reduce the possibility of a retina detachment, something that runs in the family. He has a nice demeanor and was pleasant to deal with. His staff was great too.
Reassurance
After terrific staff did initial examination, Dr. Rahhal entered without introducing himself, went directly to computer, reviewed studies then began exam without a word of greeting. When done he said nothing was wrong, couldn’t explain symptoms but dismissed them as unimportant. Only then did he ask if I had any questions. I’ve never been treated so impersonally by a physician.
The doctor is not only wonderful from a professional perspective but he's terrific for his interpersonal skills
Dr. Rahhal is not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, but also communicates very well and explains the medical terms in a way that can be comprehensible to patients. He is very honest in his prognosis and explains the treatment plan in a way that makes it easy to understand. I trust Dr. Rahhal and feel fortunate to have him helping me.

Dr. Rahal was one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen in any field. He is thorough, takes time to explain every nuance of his diagnosis, kind and empathetic. And, unlike most doctors, he does not make you spend endless time in the waiting room because he’s over scheduled himself. He is also tremendously personable. I can not recommend Dr. Rahal highly enough.
