Just recently I was back in the UK February from Perth Australia I shopped around for day to day gym prices Tudor park is way too expensive for $20 day 😯 So came to great Danes $11 day brilliant satisfied 👌 Anyhow I just got back into the UK from Australia Perth Because my mum passed Went to get a day to day pass again @ great Danes the mercury they call it now it's gone up to $15 day This is the very same reason I left my country it's become an absolute disgrace to its people . Great size pool and modern gym equipment...needs fresh appeal to pool area and changing rooms need reviewing although clean repairs are obviously there but as a hotel with golf course the picnic need more quality TLC
Unclean, poorly maintained, and over-priced. The equipment is fine and staff are usually friendly. Just don’t expect to see them stick around - the smart ones seem to leave within a few months. The building is neglected and falling apart. The company does not care about loyal members, offering sign up bonuses to create the illusion of value for money. Sadly, none of that money appears to be spent on regular cleaning, painting, and care.
A decent, decently priced gym. Does the job with few of the frills. Staff are friendly and approachable. Can get quite busy and therefore can get a bit dirty at times - but no more than other gyms!
Visited the hotel to use sauna and swimming pool facilities after calling ahead to check and paid £24 for two day passes, already very expensive. Only to then find out that they only have separate saunas for men and women therefore useless to us. It then took 20 minutes for them to issue us a refund. On top of this the swimming pool water looked very murky and unclean.
