Farrans Contractors working for Irish Water were absolute cowboys to deal with. Water box was installed in the wrong place and to an incorrect depth as per their own regulations. Their contractors installed it on the edge of a steep gripe, which collapsed with the first heavy rains. They also refused point blank to move it to the correct location and sought 17k to have it moved to the place where it was approved to be, in the first instance.
The people in Farrans are professional, hard working and the best colleagues you could ask for. There is a lovely mix of long serving employees and bright new talent. Everyone is generous with their time and the mentoring of new graduates is second to none.
