Came in to replace batteries in several mid-range Swiss watches and was quoted £40 each, except for one at £12.50 (not sure why), with the justification of “complexity and skill required.” On top of that, they wouldn’t complete the work until Monday. Went to a specialist watch repair shop instead—got all of them done for £20 in less than 10 minutes. I wanted to support this local business, but the clear attempt to rip me off left a bad taste. Won’t be returning.
Picked up a bracelet repair today and very pleased with the service. Friendly and helpful staff, repaired quicker than I expected. Would highly recommend
