I would highly advise anybody looking for a dentist to give them a try. They are amazing! They are a great staff working together. I am one that does not like to go to the dentist and have not went on a regular basis. I do now because they are so kind and gentle. They do everything to make you feel comfortable.

I can't stress enough how at home I feel when I walk I to Overman Family Dentistry. Everyone treats me like a real member of their family, and I actually look forward to being able to catch up with the staff. Dr. Overman is a very kind person and has your feelings and needs in mind when he works with you. I have never been keen on keeping one doctor/dentist over another, but I can say without question that I will continue to be seen at Overman for as long as I live in the Ames area. First of all, I have 1 year old twins, and when I called to make an appointment - expecting to have to then coordinate a babysitter - the staff told me that they have a kids' room, and not only that, but they were willing to babysit my children for me while I had my teeth worked on! WOW. Second, I have never been to a dentist that so demonstrated that he actually cares about my oral health, my personal concerns, and even my pocketbook. I came to know this practice 2 years ago after a tooth broke off while visiting Ames on the way for a long weekend for a special anniversary get-away. Dr Overman's office saw me on an emergency basis and I was so impressed that I asked to be seen on a regular basis. Over the next year, extensive catch up work was done and I am totally pleased and satisfied with everything that this office has done.

Dr. Overman is a wonderful dentist. I am finally not afraid to go to the dentist after having such a good experience with him replacing an old filling. My son also got a filling and did great with him! I highly recommend this office and thank everyone who works there. :)
