We recently moved to Ames & needed a Dentist...our son goes to Dr. Overman & we decided to give him a try. Our dentist back home had retired so we actually hadn't been to a dentist for a couple of years. I was very pleased with the office staff as well as Dr. Overman's caring nature. Our family has found a great place for dental care...we just need to make sure that Dr. Overman doesn't retire for 40 years or so, because we don't want to look any farther!
All of the staff at Overman Family Dentistry are very warm and kind. They are committed to giving the patient a great experience. Dr. Overman was very comprehensive in his oral care. I have already recommended him to several friends!
I liked not waiting to get in. Sarah and Dr. Overman were friendly and relaxed yet business-like. Good pep talk about flossing from Sarah. And I was glad to have no issues after my check-up!
My most recent visit for a check up was as pleasant as going to the dentist gets. Both the cleaning and the exam were thorough and conducted with concern for my comfort and skill. Exactly what I have come to expect from Dr Overman and staff.

For someone who dreads getting dental work done I actually enjoy visiting with Dr. Overman and his staff. They always make me feel comfortable and each time, I go home with less anxiety about going to the dentist. Very personable group!
I could write a long review, but I think all that needs to be said is this: You spend your life looking for the perfect doctor, dentist, etc., and when you find them you stay with them for life. This is what Dr. Overman and his staff represent to me. I have never felt as at home as I do when I walk in the door. Everyone is so friendly and warm. Thank you for being the last dentist I will ever have :)

I was very impressed by the service and care I received at Overman Family Dentistry this Tuesday. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming upon entrance into the office and throughout my visit. I appreciated the initial visit with Dr. Overman and his assistant to get to know each other and learn more about the care I would receive.
