I usually dread going to the dentist, but since switching to Overman Family Dentistry it's been something I've come to enjoy. The staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome. Dr. Overman is great and very knowledgable. He does a great job of telling me what's going on with my teeth. I also appreciate that he never makes me feel guilty when it's obvious I haven't done a great job flossing recently. :-) I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly and professional dentist!
We are new to Ames and when we needed to find a dentist we asked around. Dr. Overman and his staff came highly recommended by someone in our church. My appointment was scheduled for the next day, then they did one better...they had a cancelation and called me to see if I could come in. Perfect! I had a delightful dental experience at Overman Dentistry this afternoon. I was covered in a fuzzy blanket, got to watch a tv show of my choice, had a fun talk with my hygenist, got the flavors of dental stuff that I chose...my school insurance covered it and I got a GRAPE lipgloss as I left the office : ) I love this place and the people!
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Let me walk you through. On entering the facility, I was greeted very courteously and provided with the forms (which I forgot) to complete. Failure on my part there. Next, was my interview which I honestly did not anticipate but turned out to be a very relaxing setting after the process was explained to me. Furthermore, I think it was extremely nice that I was able to meet the dentist prior to the examination...not used to that. As it was my first visit, xrays were taken. Went in with a terrible toothache and needed a root canal. Dr. Overman fit me in unexpectably and I never felt any pain during or after the procedure. Staff is very friendly and does everything to make your visit as comfortable as they can. Highly recommend Dr. Overman and his staff.
Dr. Overman has been doing a great job with my teeth. I was just in for a root canal and it went great. I am very comfortable with him and his staff. If you are looking for a very good dentist I recommend Dr. Overman for you. I'm excited that my teeth are doing great thanks to his practice.
The entire staff at Overman Family Dentistry is professional and friendly. Dr. Overman is a great dentist, and a kind person. We started with Dr. Overman when he moved to town. My husband and I will be life long clients. Even my grown children choose to see Dr. Overman. I would recommend him to everyone. And I have!
You guys are awesome, everyone is super helpful, smiling and just overall rockstarish. Everything is clean, prompt and I feel way better about our dental health and education as part of our overall health. Thanks for all that you do!
Dr. Overman and his staff are great! They are very professional and friendly. They take time to get to know you and your teeth so they can give the the best dental care possible. More importantly to me, they do the same for my kids. My two young boys, who were scared to go to the dentist, actually had a "good time" at Dr. Overman's Office! I recommend them highly.
