Visited this PDSA shop recently. The quality of what they are selling is very poor particularly what they claim is vintage which, for the most part, are rag quality items. For example, Goodfellow and H&M cotton sweaters heavily worn and bobbled, priced at £24.99. On top of the unusable stock, my experience with the member of staff working behind the till was completely unacceptable. I was misgendered as I left which I quietly and calmly pointed out. I used to love charity shops as you could always find something amazing for an affordable price. I went in to the PDSA today and was honestly disgusted at the prices. For things you’re getting for free, it’s just pure greed. £29.99 for a North Face fleece that’s bobbled and faded? £14.99 for some battered Converses that have seen better days. Insanity. You can pick up Converses for £10 on Vinted in much better condition, and you can buy a brand new North Face fleece on Amazon for the same price. We need more people shopping ... read more
Today I dropped off some goods / items for recycling and resale at the Falkirk, High Street Shop. Was met by two very friendly staff members Sean and Rachael. When I said I'd more items in the car they offered to assist me with collecting them. Thank you Sean for doing so much appreciated. The shop pleasantly surprised me by it's cleanliness and layout. Also offering a range of new quality items for sale too. Again the staff were informative and helpful. David.
