This place is incredible. Mandi and David make you feel so welcome. The rooms are very comfortable, well equipped, nicely dressed and well presented. The best thing is the breakfast. Not only is their menu extensive, the food is absolutely delicious, and they're very happy to cater for all sorts of diets. We've stayed a number of times, and have had a multitude of different breakfasts. Mandi also makes bread, there's usually a few types on offer and I've honestly never had better bread. The Fairydean Mill looks exactly as in the photos I had seen on here! Check in was smooth- had lots of information sent before arrival which was helpful and the cupcakes were a lovely touch (so yummy)! Breakfasts were delicious- fruit salad, sausage and eggs on toast with tea for me! Lovely room- comfy bed, loads of cupboard space and a lovely hot shower too! Great location, great food & service.
What a place! We stayed here with family for our wedding. We honestly can't stop talking about how great everything was. Mandi and David are fantastic hosts. The cakes on arrival were beautiful, a lovely way to settle into the place and relax after a hectic day. The breakfast was something else, Full Scottish to eggs many different ways to fresh fruit salad with some of the best yogurt I've had in a while alongside beautiful homemade bread.
