They made me feel like a princess! Doted and fussed over us like we were in some wonderland!!
It has now been two weeks since the Fairmont's response promising a contact from them. Nothing has happened. This just underlines the 'all talk and no show' nature of the place. To be honest, I don't think I'd be going back. We were invited for dinner by friends who stayed at the hotel. My first impression was not good: I was standing at the bar having ordered a couple of spirits with mixers, and the bill came with a £5 service charge. Stayed for my partners birthday over bank holiday weekend. We had such a lovely time. Enjoyed drinks in 1215, dinner in Moreish which were both fab, a game of padel and a Body Blast class. Loved the bedrooms, decor and the excellent level of service across all departments. The birthday cake & card in our room was a much appreciated touch!
When we first checked in (25 August 2025), my experience was extremely negative. I had been assured before arrival that the hotel would wash and sterilise my babies’ bottles, only to be told late at night that they would not — after my nanny had already left and I had only one clean bottle left for my 11-week-old twins.
