We were searching for floors for about 3 weeks for the best deal and found some ok deals but not the color i was looking for just plan b's and c's checked out their site and found the color i loved for even a better price with 2.3 dollar less per s. ft than the previous vendor we found. We really believe the factory direct floor is an honest and trustable business with very minimal profit. the warehouse is huge with lots of wood pallets and we visited them 3 times before signing the paper and picking up the wood floor.
I had my solid wood floor installed by these guys 4 years ago and found 2 boards went buckled near the patio so I called in for a repair under the warranty. They made an appointment and came in with some extra wood planks to quickly removed the boards but realized there was a water leakage by the patio which has caused the wood buckling due to moisture. I have just bought my first dream house and wanted to put my dream acacia hardwood floor in the entire house. I have searched prices and quality for 3 months and finally decided with Factory Diret because they have the best price on gthe product I wanted and they have it sitting inside their local warehouse so I didn't have to wait. Recommended!! P.S. if you are not like me who has something in mind, being more flexible, you can get some even better deals like $2 per sf on solid floor with good finish quality.
I visited the San leandro location on Thursday and a young man, Henry was very helpful in assisting me. I purchased 900 square feet of solid finished cherry for $3.39 a foot. I felt it important to see and feel the wood I was interested in purchasing. I returned on Friday with my husband so he could see the wood too at about 12:00 noon and it was very busy with only two sales associates who were both doing the best they could. This company is the most honest and customer friendly business I have dealt with: We bought Brazilian Teak there and had the floor installed by the company installers in 2010. The floor looks beautiful and lovely by the way! We are recently moving out of the house to a new house that we just recently purchased so would like to purchase the same wood floor for our new house.
