Reliable, friendly service. They are very responsive via email and phone. The more important, their prices are much lower and selections are much bigger than other flooring and cabinet stores. My husband had found the place from his co-workers who did their floors with the company so we also bought our engineer maple floor here for downstairs of the new house. It turned out to be beautiful! the whole project was $4585 with $1800 savings for the same product we found on builddirect online.
My wife and I just bought a beautiful three story Victorian home in SF and needed to have the hardwood floors refinished. I chose the Factory Direct Floor because they had so many great hardwood selections in stock so I thought their refinishing work should be also very professional. I researched 4 different flooring companies, from the high end to the Lowes ( pun intended ) to install hardwood floors in a rental apartment and chose Factory Direct for the following reasons - they did NOT try to sell me crap I knew I didn't need, and they knew EXACTLY what needed to be done. Thanks to the other reviewers. I never even got a quote from any other store. We are very, very pleased with the hardwood flooring they installed. Not only did we get a great price but the installation team was very professional, skilled and efficient. They were even kind enough to help us place a few pieces of heavy furniture back in place.
