If no stars that is what they would get.. after almost 4 years with them it has been nothing but trouble. They kept calling my place of employment after being told and was confirmed on a recorded phone call in June of 2019 they continued to call, needless to say I lost job because of this and they say it was a "glitch". Too bad I have all the proof. Then call them on Oct 1st for payment arrangements and needless to say they tell me that arrangement had been made by a guy named Colin who I have never heard of. So now I am sta... read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! You will end up paying DOUBLE what your loan was. They don't care about their customers, they only want to squeeze as much money out of you as they can!! I have made 54 payments at $285 a month for an $11,800 car and I still owe almost $5,000???

I got shoved into Exeter Financial by the dealership where I purchased my vehicle. They told me every lie in the book to get me to accept Exeter, so now I'm stuck with these tapeworms. The only communication I have ever had with them aside from receiving bills is when I call them. the first time I called was on a Saturday. I sat on hold for 30 minutes before someone picked up the phone, then immediately hung up on me. The second time I called was on a weekday. I got an actual human being (sort of) who advised me that the o... read more

I absolutely would not recommend this company. I needed some documents updated from a name changer I did in March 2019. I was given almost a month run around and was given so much incorrect information I did not know what to do. Can the supervisors have no clue what they are talking about. If you are looking to finance through this company save yourself the time and effort. It takes days for them to get information to you and no one is on the same page. ABSOLUTELY will never be using this company again.

Exeter is a horrible company to work with, I fell behind on my payments due to medical and the late cycle continued with no catching up in site due to the ridiculous interest that accrues daily, I contacted Exeter to discuss a possible refinance and they said no we don't do that, I ask about taking my son off of the loan and allowing my new husband to assume responsibility along with myself in hopes of a better interest rate, they said no we don't do that. I called back again today 8/15 and explained that I was exploring oth... read more

After almost 4 years of paying on this vehicle I still owe less than 200.00 off the original price they financed me for. the car is now 11 years old and I still owe them almost 14K. I want to turn it in and take a loss but I need my vehicle. I cannot refinance because I no one will take that negative hit and add to another behicle. Exeter told me they could move my payments back but that only added more interest to the remaining balance. I need to get rid of this vehicle and they can have it!!!

By chance I found two of my statements, I've paid well over 7,267.00 why did my statement on 6/09/2019 say I owe 10,474.00 so I open the one from last month 10,310.28. I call and ask what's going on I've paid you guys 800.00 I s... read more

Do not use this company to finance an auto loan, they are crooked. I had been making payments on time for about 8 months, then I get laid off from my job. I then call and ask if there is anything they can do and if they can work with me on the payments. They said sure and proceeded to make the next 2 payments "roll-over" into the end of the payment plan. They then asked what I could pay now, so I paid $100. About a month goes by and I wake up to find my car is gone...wtf?!?! I called Exeter to see if they repossessed it, sur... read more
