Safe Streets USA is not in the business of making people's homes safe. They are in the business of scamming for money. I pretty much got scammed into signing up with safe street which came across as ADT. I didn't know they are a third party company. I also didn't know about a 3 year contract. I would never sign a contract. I work for **** and I don't have a contract on anything I have with my job. The representative never told me about the $60+ charge. There's no way I can afford the service. I'm out from work on maternity leave. I want out of the contract I just received today.

We spoke with the customer at the time of Sale on 12/26/2018 and made her aware the contract length is 36 months. We also provided the customer with a copy of her contract via email that was signed at the date of install on 12/27/2018 by Ms. ******. We took all necessary steps to make the customer aware she was signing up for a contract term of 36 months and that her rate would be $58.99 +Tax. It is the customers responsibility to make payments on services rendered.
We were approached by a door to door salesman for this company. In getting an estimate he asked my birthday. He then ran a credit check on me without permission.

This cat by the name ******* ******* comes to my home and lied to me. Me my mother and Girl Friend all understood the price of the monitoring service would drop to BELOW $20/month after the 3 year contract. We bought in with this promise. It is a LIE. While we apologize that the customer feels taken advantage of, the person in question is no longer affiliated with our company in any fashion and has not been for a long time. The customer has the ability to cancel the contract without penalty with *** as he is over a year outside of his 3 year agreement. Again we apologize if he feels he was misinformed about ***'s billing after the contract terms have expired but we have no control over the monthly rates.
I have spent the last 5 hours trying to resolve and issue with ADT and Safe Streets, their authorized dealer in my area. I just learned from the actual rep for Southern WI that she was not involved in this arrangement. When you call the ADT authorized dealer, Safe Streets, you are getting an installer who pays ADT to monitor for 13 months. They come out and pretend they are ADT... This is NOT ADT!!! This is a third party ripoff company. We had issues within the first couple days of signing up. We called and after being transferred multiple times with no answer I finally called the guy who set up up and he was able to schedule a tech to come out the following week. After continued issues with the doorbell/sensors and techs not showing up when scheduled, We ended up calling to cancel within our first 30 days... Customer was installed in April of 2018. The first service call that came in was in June of 2018. Customer called in again for service in February of 2019 and account was serviced by ADT on 2/7/2019. Customer called in to cancel due to wanting to go with Ring as it is cheaper. Customer was told that they have a three year contract and that in order to cancel they would owe 75% of what is left on the contract. This company is a joke. I had my system installed (***), I thought it was through *** but SafeStreet showed up, I signed paperwork stating my billing info would come through *** (was given that info at installation), I was billed for 2 months and pro-rated for the current month (pro-rated for April, Billed for May and June)... Never installed all equipment promised. Had them intall systems on both my home and business, haven't been able to set my business alarm once since it's been installed. System errors popped up the first day they installed it and they haven't been back to fix it. They fired the sales rep who promised a Nest system in both my home and business and also promised three cameras on both my home and business, only two have been installed at my home and business. Customer has been offered one of the cameras missing from his residence that is included in his contract. Was also offered two thremostats free of charge that are not on his contract. Refused service to fix issues due to having to pay for the additional camera he is requesting that is not included in the contract even when offered at cost. Explained to customer that offer will still stand if he calls in and changes his mind.
I have tried on several attempt to settle my balance with safe street for equipment installed and the payments where not accept or decline due to a zip code error at the bank. They never told me that it was declined until 3 months later. I get a call from a "representative" with a bunch of babies crying in the background demanding payment. I called 3 times that week and they kept doing the same mistake over and over.
