Brilliant, the staff were kind and giving us extra food,the staff worker (Ashley) was brilliant.
popped in for some food on sunday before getting the ferry so can't rate rooms , friendly and helpful staff food was excellent especially the chocolate fudge sunday , nice and clean restaurant and very reasonable prices and good service
Came here with my partner for a quick pint after walking all morning. Not a soul in the place other than the one staff member. Asked if we could sit by the window to enjoy the view over the bay but apparently its reserved for "tonight". Asked if we bought food would that be ok. No its for tonight. It's 2pm and there's nobody here! How hard is it to wipe a table - sheer laziness.
Stopped in here for a quick drink before getting the ferry. Place was dead with one other group but we were told we couldn’t sit at the window tables as these were “reserved for tonight” it was 2pm. Offered to order food to sit at the window but was told “reserved for tonight”. Nobody came in for the entirety of our visit. Ended up not ordering food so they lost out on custom. Had a drink and quickly left. The restaurant are was bright and well lit so giving the extra star for that only.
Came here for dinner everyday on our 3 days in Rothesay. This is one of the few places open for dinner in Rothesay and they serve delicious hearty meals. Servers are friendly and attentive. Can get very busy depending on the number of visitors to the island. Prices are reasonable. Great views. Definitely would return.
