My agent is refusing to release an official proof of insurance to the DMV, which is required for me to be able to renew my registration. I'm Done with State Farm after over 25 years. Their customer service is terrible, and they don't listen to their customers. I had an issue with State Farm using all used parts to repair my car especially when I had just spent $1200 to replace the condenser four months earlier. I think this company offers a really poor business and customer services. Their policy is to drop you if you have an accident, it doesn't matter if is your fault or not. They are really happy to take your money but not to use that money to help you. The customer service principle of this company is poor, rude and in some cases discriminatory
I have been with State Farm for Auto Insurance for close to 40...yes that IS 40 years! In all this time they have had horrible customer service and claims departments but I suppose I have just been too lazy to switch. State farm client T boned my new 2019 Dodge Ram, would refuse to speak with me in English, unfortunately for her I have a witness. They delayed my witness statement for a month to try and not hear it and then labeled my vehicle as a 2018 instead of 2019 to protect their client who lied. They sent me to have repairs done and they were so poor even ruining the diamond paint on the entirety of the 75 thousand dollar vehicle so I had to sell it for a diminished value. They were absolutely amazing for us. Our car got totaled a couple days before Christmas, so the claim we filed understandably took a few days to get started. But once it was started, it only took them 6 days to finalize everything and pay it off. Customer service was great and our local agent is amazing. So happy to have State Farm.
On the night of 11/30/18 my basement flooded due to the sub-pump. Immediately, we called a plumber and spent $800 to install and replace a new sub-pump. We also went out and bought a dehumidifier and shop-vac to help reduce the water damage. Once the plumber was finished we called our State Farm Agent that evening and told him what occurred.
