I've had both knees replaced by Dr. Smith and I'm so happy and pain free. I wish I would have had my knees replaced years ago. Dr. Smith is outstanding in every aspect of his care and his associates are very attentive.
Dr. Smith has replaced both my hips! He is an excellent surgeon as well as a caring and compassionate physician. He listens to his patients and has a very calming approach!
Dr. Eric Smith is an excellent surgeon, he explains what's needed and after surgery what was done. He personally checks in on all his patients the day after surgery. I've recommended him to over 6 people - he's fabulous in every aspect of care.
I’ve recommended four others to him. He is kind, compassionate, and direct. He has excellent bedside manner and wants what’s best for his patients. He is exacting in care ore, during, and post surgical intervention. He is a skilled surgeon and most importantly he is an exemplary physician.
He was rude and not professional during my last visit. He seemed angry at me.

I had a positive first impression of Rothman Institute. I noticed that the way the xrays were done, with both knees side by side, and other views, gave me more information than with previous xrays. Dr. Smith did an excellent job explaining what I was seeing. Dr. Smith answered all of my questions clearly and to my satisfaction. I feel comfortable having my surgery at Rothman.
Dr Smith is a magician! He had me walking & now getting off pain medicine. I think he is the best
Dr Smith preform a total hip replacement. He knowledge, abilities exceeded my expectations. The thoughtful compassion he displayed made my surgery less stressful. The results excellent. I would highly recommend him.
