I was provided a car to use through a local auto mechanic from this enterprise. I had returned the car per instructions to the auto shop (enterprise would pick it up). Someone (likely a enterprise employee or a auto shop employee) proceeded to get a red light ticket after I had dropped of the car. I have a receipt when I picked up my personal car from the auto mechanic and was at work when the ticket took place. Always over booked. Agreement had an 8am pickup. At 12p the car still is not available. I booked this 2-weeks in advance, and they still cannot provide a car for me? Now I miss all meetings scheduled at the location I was trying to get to and waste an entire day dealing with a corrupt company. Step up BBB.........The government needs to step in just like they did with airlines. There should be laws in place to prevent such business practices.
After I had an unpleasant conversation with a woman who at the time worked at the West Colonial location, I believe her name was ******* cannot remember her name I'll refer to her as ***** she placed me on a do not rent list. Beware Enterprise scam!! My insurance paid $30 ($360 total) per day, but they said they needed my debit card for the taxes. It ended being $131 bucks!! This was a 12 day rental due to accident and I needed to have my car repaired in South Carolina. Do NOT give them your debit card! Call your insurance adjuster.
In October I really needed to rent a car for a couple of days. My son's truck broke down and we let him use ours until his was fixed. Picked up the car at Enterprise in Foxboro MA, but it looked like it had been sideswiped on passenger side. Was told they had very limited availability, especially on short notice, and I didn't care how the car looked as long as it ran. I asked for a compact car. They said a truck was available. I said,"I've never driven a truck.". They said, "It's all we have." I purchased insurance because I was afraid of wrecking the truck and sure enough, I backed it into a parked car. I returned the truck, showing staff the scratches on the bumper. They said they still had no other vehicles for me to drive.I will never use this service again. A complete nightmare
For context, our employee was involved in an accident by another party. The party rear-ended ** and therefore we needed a rental car while this car was in the shop. The rental car was paid for by the insurance company and when we spoke with enterprise we told them explicitly that we don't want insurance because it was being paid for by the insurance company.The rental car company then proceeded to have our employee pick up the car to ask them again to get the rental car insurance and both lacked to explain that this was part... read more
Rented a car for today ***** went to pick it up and they inform me there is no rental for me and I would have to wait 2 days before being able to receive a car. They want me to do it in there because it cost more money online and if there is lag in the system than they need to figure something out that won't reserve if there is no vehicles available. Now I have no way to work or anything else with a sick kid
I had a reservation for a car 3 weeks prior and when 2 hours before picking up they called me that they didnt have a car yet but should have one at noon and they asked me to call them back in an hour. I called back they put me on hold for 53 minutes then they hanged up. I tried to call them back but the office was closed. I called their customer service they said theres nothing they can do. Because of this I lost a meeting and I will had to pay significant more money for travel transportation
