I rented a SUV last weekend to go to Norfolk Virginia for the weekend, The SUV ended up having issues, the door was hard to close, the mirror was stuck on night vision and would not change to day.. When my car was totaled out my insurance company reached out to Enterprise so that I could get a car while I looked for a new one. After a week I called my insurance company and didnt get an answer so I reached out to Enterprise so that I could check and see when my rental car was supposed to be returned because they couldnt tell me at check out. I rented a car from enterprise boardman-****** location for one day 4/14 - returning 4/15. The rep who helped me advised that if I don't drop the car off after 2pm to give keys to representative in their auto section. It is open until 5. I dropped car off at 2:50pm, parked car in car port, and the rep said to just call monday or tuesday to validate they had it. I flew home to ***** on 4/16. Horrible experience with customer service, I had to literally call the police for this situation! I recently booked at the Chapman Road location (Chattanooga, Tennessee ) because the branch manger ****** ** ********decided he didn’t want me to use my employee discount . He was extremely rude and racist ! Between being on hold and actually talking to multiple people this was an over four hour affair. I made a reservation for my car rental and to be picked up. They never came nor answered the phone after being on hold for well over an hour and half. Called customer service which was a bigger waste of my time. The employees were not knowledgeable and completely unhelpful if anything made the situation worse. Enterprise Rent-A-Car Post Ok let me start by saying, I gave two stars because ********,the young Hispanic guy that I returned the car to at the Ft.Lauderdale Airport ,was very nice and listened to my concerns.I rented a vehicle for Mon.April 3 -5, I let enterprise pick because it never dawned on me that they would try to force me into a big SUV.It was just 1 person on business. In my experience Enterprise has horrible customer service. We are appalled at their lack of communication and follow-through. We rented a car that had a tire blow out and we were left on the side of the road. They sent someone to change the tire but it was a spare they said we couldnt drive on and didnt provide ** with a replacement vehicle. We kept waiting for their call. Long story short they left ** without a rental and still charged ** over $400. Its robbery. We are fighting to get our money back.
3/7/23 I reserved my rental for O'Fallon IL location at 1700 for p/u at 1730. Upon arrival I found out that the app lets you book despite them closing at that time. I did get a rental which was a Toyota Camry. I left at 1745 drove the vehicle about 2 blocks and realized the vehicle ran horribly-I immediately turned around and went back-the lights were being turned off when I parked in a spot. Very discriminatory, worst rental car place I've seen in my life, treatment is absolutely horrible took 2 days to place a vehicle rental via insurance claim.
