Unfriendly Atmosphere – The last few times I went to this place I witnessed two bar fights which was completely unexpected in such an atmosphere. I never thought of this as a dangerous establishment but I actually fear that next time something much worse could happen. It's pretty bad that you cannot even enjoy yourself in a neighborhood bar without being subjected to violence. I stongly discourage anyone from visiting this potentially dangerous establishment.
Best after work bar/restaurant – Ivy's caters to the Indianapolis GLBT community. The food is consistently good and a good value for the money spent. The atmosphere is warm as you enter through a beveled glass front door. The bar has a large screen TV usually with a sports event on. The dining area is comfortable with an attentive wait-staff.
