My Grandma recently was at Encompass for physical therapy at spinal surgery at the age of 91. This is a tough one because the physical therapy treatment was fantastic but the overall treatment was not something I could recommend. They LEFT her at the doctor for 2 and 1/2 hours without a pickup (which she lost her therapy time for also). During that time she was in pain and in her own feces. My mother was here last year, following surgery. This facility is, hands down, top-notch in every way. This is a very courteous, professional staff that truly puts it’s patients welfare first and foremost. I can’t say enough nice things about these fine people. I absolutely love this facility. I came here during a really hard and rough time in my life and was treated with such love, compassion, and kindness. The staff, nurses and doctors all were wonderful people all of whom really helped me recover from my injuries. You changed my life for the better and I will never forget that �
My husband has been here 16 times. Everyone is great. The pt an ot are wonderful. Three hours a day. He does not just sit around. The nurses an cna are all caring an keeps me posted on everything.Even the kitchen staff goes out of there way to make him happy. Great place.
I chose Healthsouth as my place to do rehab after my major stroke on 6/12/12. 3 hours a day was tough but at the end of the day it was worth it. The staff was great and they treated me great.
It's ok. The PT and OT staff are wonderful. The nursing staff is ok. They are either just starting nursing or nursing rejects that can't hack it. The PCA'S are great. They seem to care more than anyone, they also tell u to make sure u complain when u have to wait for pain meds. This is our 4th time here. The place has gone down hill. Just make sure u are on your game if u go here.
Visited a friend. All the staff was nice. The receptionist, nurse, speech therapist, all friendly. Clean facility. Very nice.
My Mom has been to Health South a few times, and has had nothing but the best care there!
