We took our 2 year old son with us, he made it all the way to the top an kept telling me come on mommy. The view was so beautiful it will be something we do every year with him.
I hate to give a state park a poor rating, but the way this park is operated makes no sense! Sell tickets on line or provide more parking! We never got in (and neither did the mile long line of cars behind us). I wouldn't complain if this only happened once, but when it is a common occurrence (3 out of 4 trips here) people should be aware.
This is a great hike! When you make it to the top and see how the view opens up, it takes your breath away!!!
Just did the Summit trail to the top and came back Turkey Creek Trail down, loved it. A wonderful experience!
