Perfect place for a day hike
This place is wonderful! I've done the Summit and Echo Canyon trails so far and they both give you a good workout and beautiful views!

The gate wouldnt open this morning at 8am, the rangers worked on it for about 20 minutes before it opened. They comped our entry because of the delay! We loved our morning climb and look forward to returning!

I enjoy it alot great workout and muscle climbing for all ages.
For good reason Enchanted Rock fills to capacity on weekends so you have to plan ahead. Weekday camping in October, though, was a breeze with lots of campsite choices. The day visitor crowd was moderate and not to capacity. Why such crowds? - stunning scenery and geology - hiking, exploring and adventure for all skill levels. - a night sky so incredible, it takes your breath away. And right now, the park is overflowing with butterflies. It was magical. Thank you, Enchanted Rock SNA.
