Amazing
Nice short climb (425') to the summit. After the climb take the loop trail to Moss lake and complete the lop via Echo trail - a rocky but scenic trail.
It was a great climb and a wonderful breathtaking view. I can't wait till i take my son again
Gorgeous! I went right at 8:00 and there was hardly anyone there. Beautiful views from the top and took only 43 minutes to get up the summit trail.
Very scenic. Best to get there early to avoid the heat and crowds. Also we went on a non weekend day - Friday- and the crowd was not huge at 8AM. We got there at 7:45 AM, and there were only a handful of people. Nice hike. 30 minutes up the rock and 30 minutes down, at a leisurely pace, on the Summit Trail. Restrooms available before 8AM at the bottom of the Summit Trail. You can check in the Park at about 6:30 AM, before the 8AM opening of the park office. RecommendedOne of the best parks in Texas(#4),lots to do here , from rock climbing, bouldering, sight seeing , bird watching,etc,etc. Come on a week day or late in a Sunday afternoon & come out in the winter.
