RecommendedUsed to go here on and off. Pretty scenery. Nice hiking. Great place to get out of town with my girlfriends. Away from spying eyes (If you know what I mean). Recommend.
It's just beautiful all around, especially if you can make it up to the rock summit. Just a relaxing, GORGEOUS payoff!

We had a group of Cub Scouts & parents from Pack 601 out of San Antonio camp at Enchanted Rock this past weekend (Jan 11-13, 2019), and on Saturday afternoon, Park Ranger Jessica Deboer led a Summit hike for our group. She was helpful, knowledgeable, and provided a great experience for us all. Much more than just a hike, but an experience for our Scouts (and parents). We are truly thankful!

Doublejoys.com In our four month of traveling, enchanted rock state natural area stands out as a must see. If you want thousands of beautiful photos, impressive rock formations, miles of medium grade hikes, peaceful creeks, and plenty of places to sit and relax, then this will likely suit you. You would have to hate nature to not enjoy this place. There’s a cave/tunnel that was also a highlight.
Beautiful scenery, well taken care of trails, creeks always have water. We have repelled, watched people climb cracks, and our kids whom are under 11 love it as well. Bring lots of water to drink.
